Spring is a time for hope and rebirth and I am definitely feeling that this Spring for Louisiana’s coast. Swamps, marshes, ridges, and bayous are seeing extraordinary movement toward restoration. It takes hard work and it takes all of us, but we are making big strides in the delta and setting the bar for large-scale ecosystem restoration.

Now is the time to plug in! The month ahead is prime time to get involved with restoration efforts. Louisiana’s coastal program is in high gear and we are currently in public comment periods for hundreds of millions of dollars' worth of critical coastal projects. Read on to learn how you can help ensure we keep the momentum going. We’ve gotten this far because of your support.

Like so many people this week, we are saddened to see the devastation caused in Arabi and other communities across our region by last night's tornado. These communities are still recovering from recent devastating storms like Hurricane Ida, and need our help.
