Hi John,
Ana Maria Archila is fighting to take our movement to Albany and as last week’s debate showed, she is the candidate New York needs at this moment.
That's why AOC endorsed her yesterday, bringing momentum to the growing chorus of progressive New Yorkers fighting to elect a leader who will stand up for working families across the state. And that’s why I’m hitting the streets this weekend to help Team Ana Maria connect with voters.
Join me on Saturday to talk to voters for Ana Maria Archila for Lieutenant Governor, Jumaane Williams for Governor, and Phara Souffrant-Forrest for Assembly! [[link removed]]
Ana Maria has a strong chance to shake things up in Albany, but she needs our help to push her over the top on Election Day. This race -- like so many of those this June and later in August -- will come down to turn out.
The New York Times and Politico both reported this week about how tight this race could be, quoting political analysts predicting a close margin of error because Ana Maria has been “absolutely dogged and methodical in working the grassroots.”
In a race this close, every voter we talk to counts.
So sign up for a shift this week, or join me for one on Saturday to help get out the vote! [[link removed]]
I’ll be at Fort Greene Park on Saturday morning with volunteers to talk to voters about why they should vote for Ana Maria, Jumaane Williams and Phara. Sign up here [[link removed]] to join.
Hope to see you at the polls!
Brad
