John, I hope you and your family had a wonderful Father’s Day celebrating the men who do so much for our families and community. My two children and I enjoyed celebrating my husband Jason! I am beyond grateful for the gift he is to our family. Talking Inflation, Energy, & Shortages on Mundo: I joined Pete Mundo on KCMO Talk Radio this morning to discuss the fantastic event we had on Friday with Chairwoman Stefanik and to share some of the concerns I’ve been hearing from voters as I host events throughout KS-03. I was particularly moved by a story I heard from a gentleman in Shawnee on Saturday. After a career spent working at a local Ford plant, he is now worried that rising costs from inflation, gas prices, and supply chain issues will lead to layoffs at his plant. As I said on air, Biden’s Administration - with the full support of Sharice Davids - is attempting to force our country into an energy transition for which we are not ready. Instead of policies that hurt businesses and workers by causing layoffs and skyrocketing prices, we must increase domestic production of oil and gas and stop the rampant federal spending that’s fueling record inflation.
