Hi, John. It’s Maria Nelson, Tom’s wife, and as his wife, I’m not afraid to admit that he’s not perfect. Even though Tom can be, at times, a little too honest, too cheap, or too competitive, he is still an incredible father and husband.
 
Tom is the hardest worker I know, and I know that he will make a great Senator because he will work just as hard for every family as he does for ours. Honestly, to say Tom works hard is an understatement.

When something seems impossibly difficult, like saving a mill or picking up the slack at home while I was undergoing treatment for breast cancer, his first response is to get up earlier, not move things off his plate. I’m so grateful to have him by my side.

Happy Father’s Day to Tom, and to all of you! We hope you have a wonderful day and get to spend this time with your loved ones.
