We are writing to ask you to make a contribution to help us defeat Republican Senator Ron Johnson and flip Wisconsin’s U.S. Senate seat blue. Please let us explain why this request is so important ahead of our FEC deadline on June 30.

Our race is without a doubt the best shot Democrats have at flipping a Republican-held seat and expanding Senate control, but it’s going to take a lot of resources to win.

Republicans have raised over $200 million to take back the Senate and Mitch McConnell’s Super PAC is committed to spending over $141 million to defend this seat. $24 million has already been reserved in Wisconsin to protect Ron Johnson — the most vulnerable GOP Senator up for re-election.

Sarah Godlewski is the strongest Democrat to take them all on and win. She’s the only one polling ahead of Johnson right now, and The Washington Post considers her “the best chance” to defeat him in November.

Most election experts consider Wisconsin a dead heat, but our campaign represents the Democratic Party’s best chance to flip this seat from red to blue. And when this deadline ends, we have to make some critical budget decisions that will set us on the course to replacing Ron Johnson in the U.S. Senate.
