Happy Father’s Day weekend, folks!

If we haven’t met, I’m Jack Williams — Lindsey’s dad and #1 fan.

As a dad to two amazing daughters, I know the sacrifice and commitment it takes to be a parent. And I know all too well how rewarding it is to watch your child grow up and change the world.

That’s why I wanted to take a second today to brag about my incredible daughter, Lindsey. Over the last four years, she’s made me prouder than I could have ever imagined.

When Lindsey decided to run for office in 2018, I drove five hours (each way!) every weekend from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area to Pittsburgh to knock on doors and help however I could to get my daughter elected. I won’t say my truck won her the seat, but it certainly didn’t hurt, either!

The driving and the door-knocking was exhausting at times, but I’d move mountains for my kids. After all, it’s what dads do — especially when our kids are fighting to make a difference in the world.

As a retired 40-year member of Operating Engineers Local 542, I raised my kids with union values. I can’t tell you how proud it makes me to watch Lindsey champion the same ideals — to stand with your community and fight alongside your neighbors for what’s right — as a state senator today.

Her time representing the people of Pennsylvania’s 38th has proven something I’ve always known to be true about Lindsey: When she sees injustice, she’ll fearlessly confront it head-on as she did in her own life. And she won’t quit until justice is delivered.

That’s why we need to fight for Lindsey with the same tenacity she’s fought for your community this election.

Will you help protect my daughter’s seat this November by making a small donation before the weekend to support her re-election efforts?

I wish you all a great weekend spent with friends, family, and loved ones. Have a Happy Father’s Day!

– Jack, Lindsey’s Dad
