Dear MassKids Supporters,

MassKids has made great strides in 2019 to educate parents, schools, youth organizations and the public about child sexual abuse and ways to prevent it. In case you missed our Fall e-newsletter, click here to read it.

As you consider supporting charitable causes today on #GivingTuesday and during this Holiday season, we encourage you to join the movement to prevent child sexual abuse and protect children from its devastating consequences for them, their families, and our communities.

Here are a few quick facts about our work in 2019. Your gift will support our continued effectiveness and help us launch new innovative strategies in 2020.

States have now formally adopted our Enough Abuse Campaign - building coalitions, educating parents, training professionals, promoting prevention policies for schools and youth organizations, and passing legislation to address the problem.

Research-based and evidence-informed curricula are now included in our comprehensive inventory of training tools. Our latest online course for schools was hailed this year as an effective crime prevention tool by the U.S. Department of Justice.

Public and private school employees completed our Enough! online course. 96% said they would enthusiastically recommend it to their colleagues.

Individuals participated in direct trainings that we delivered in person this year.

Visits resulting in over 2 million hits were made to our masskids.org and enoughabuse.org websites in 2019.

In 2020, we will continue to take our Prevention Tour to more Massachusetts cities and towns, training local school and youth organization leaders about child sexual abuse prevention. We will release our new online training course designed specifically for youth serving organizations, and will mobilize individuals everywhere to Pledge to Prevent child sexual abuse through specific, targeted actions.
