Next week, I’ll be sitting down with my team to go over our priorities and strategy for the final months of this critical election. Before we do, it’s important to me that I get your feedback.

Too many politicians pretend to listen, but everything just goes in one ear and out the other. That’s not how I was raised.

Growing up, my mom always told me, “God gave you two ears and one mouth for a reason — to do more listening and less talking.” That's why I send these brief surveys around to ensure I'm fighting for you and your interests.

Our campaign has been focused on setting an agenda that addresses the priorities and concerns of folks just like you. We’ve been out on the road a lot, listening to Wisconsinites from all over our state, having conversations about what’s going on in their communities, and asking what I can do to help — it’s also why the response to these surveys is so important.

I want to ensure everyone on this team has the chance to share their thoughts with me. Your feedback goes right into developing the comprehensive policy plans we release about the issues that matter most to communities across the state and across the country right now.
