Hi, my name is Keith, and I work with the George Washington Initiative. More than a year after the January 6th insurrection, we’re still learning the details about what occurred and led us down this path. But one thing is certain: dis- and misinformation (DisMis) influenced that day’s events. Here are just a few quotes from rioters:

January 6th was the culmination of months of DisMis popularized on social media and legitimized by some of our most powerful elected officials for their own personal gain. And they are at it again. As the nation’s first information civil defense force, the George Washington Initiative is on a mission to target and dismantle DisMis ecosystems to stop them.
