Hi John,
I'm Don, Ann Marie’s husband. I wanted to reach out ahead of this Father’s Day with a very special request. But first, I hope you'll let me share why your support for Ann Marie’s campaign is so important.
These past few years have been hard for fathers, well really all parents, everywhere. Today we celebrate the dads, grandfathers, foster dads, bonus dads, uncles, and mentors in our lives who have helped us become who we are.
I know how much my father meant to me and to Ann Marie. She knows how important the role that parents play in the lives of their families.
Juggling responsibilities, schedules, everyday challenges, and raising a family with good values, all while working a demanding full-time job (or two) is an all too familiar story for too many households across this country. Our family wasn’t immune from this either. We’ve weathered our share of family losses, work struggles, and countless ill-timed healthcare crises.
So the good news is that relief is on the horizon.
Ann Marie is beyond dedicated to finding solutions for our communities – her over 25 years of experience in law and business have made her a strong negotiator (I should know) who knows how to work with others and get things done.
Ann Marie knows we deserve a health care system that treats us like human beings with our own choices, and not just a way to boost potential profits or drain more of our wallets.
She’s a leader who cares more about saving lives than pleasing the gun lobby.
When it comes to our State Senate, Ann Marie will prioritize our interests and needs, not super PAC paid political agendas.
But we need to know first who’s with us in this fight: Will you chip in $5 today for our campaign? We want to collect a record number of personal donations from everyday folks to show off the power of our grassroots campaign.
While Father’s Day is about celebrating the father figures in our lives, I want to dedicate my day to hard-working parents everywhere. Our family is the most important priority of our lives. We are proud to fight every day for a better future for them, and to advance policy that helps all the fathers and other caregivers out there.
Thank you for all you do,
Don Mitchell
