This Week: At A Glance

Monday, after a long fight, Rep. Young Kim (CA-40) finally collected her primary win. Kim's next hurdle is keeping this seat red come November. 

Also Monday, Rep. Ashley Hinson (IA-02) highlighted a Texas federal judge's ruling to throw out the Biden administration's immigration enforcement policies. Hinson called the decision is an important victory for border security and the rule of law.

Tuesday, WFW PAC-endorsed candidates Mayra Flores (TX-34) and Nancy Mace (SC-01) collected two wins in their special and primary elections. 

Mayra Flores is the first Mexican-born congresswoman in American history. This district has been controlled by Democrats for over 100 years. Texas District 34 has made history! 

Fellow Texan Rep. Beth Van Duyne (TX-24) congratulated Flores on the historic win!

The congratulations poured in for Nancy Mace after months of hard work in South Carolina's Lowcounty! 

WFW PAC is proud to have endorsed Nancy for two cycles.

Early Wednesday morning, Nevada's third congressional district declared WFW PAC-endorsed candidate April Becker (NV-03) as the primary winner. April blew her opponents out of the water! Becker is an attorney, a fighter, and an America First conservative! 

Thursday, Rep. Stephanie Bice (OK-05) highlighted the uncontrollable nature of the ever growing border crisis. Just last month, there were over 239,416 illegal crossings. 

Campaign Spotlight

One GOP strategist took the words right out of our mouths: Do not sleep on Tiffany Smiley. The Washington Senate candidate is challenging longtime Senator Patty Murray, who has held the seat for more than 30 years and recently launched a TV ad blasting Smiley.

Axios: How Americans will feel the squeeze from higher interest rates. 

Higher borrowing costs may push consumers and businesses to hold back on certain purchases. That will cool off demand, and perhaps put a lid on prices that are rising at the fastest rate in over 40 years.

Politico: Meet Mayra Flores, the newly elected Latina Republican from South Texas. The first Mexican-born congresswoman will serve for the next seven months after a big special election win.

Fox News: GOP congressional hopeful April Becker confident she'll win in November, says Dems using abortion to distract. "The state's going to be flipped, it's just a very winnable state and I think that especially with the current environment, it's just kind of a known thing that we're going to win this seat back," Becker told Fox News Digital.

LA Times: Republican Orange County Congresswoman Young Kim advances to general election.

U.S. Rep. Young Kim beat back a last-minute challenge from a fellow Republican and will face off with Democrat Asif Mahmood in the fall election for the seat centered in inland Orange County.
