I've joined NRDC's board and I'm standing with them to fight for our planet this Giving Tuesday.

An anonymous donor will send $200,000 — but only if 5,000 people give a gift by midnight tonight!

Dear NRDC Activist,
I'm a mother, an actor, and a former pretend vice president — but today, I'm reaching out to you as a new NRDC board member. And I have one simple message:
Our environment's in deep trouble. And NRDC needs our help to save it.
President Trump and his pals are undoing decades of progress that has kept our air and water clean and our wildlife thriving (what are they thinking?!).
Thankfully, NRDC is fighting back hard. They're defending our bedrock environmental laws in Washington, protecting communities like yours and mine, and winning in the courts. But they've got their work cut out for them and they need our support.
So here's where you and I come in: Today they have an incredible opportunity to unlock $200,000 in critical funds if 5,000 people pitch in with a donation before midnight.
I made my gift this morning — will you join me by making a special Giving Tuesday donation right now?
When you support my friends at NRDC today, you will power their relentless work to challenge climate change deniers, prevent disastrous oil and gas drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, save our coastlines from the oil industry's attempts to rip them open for oil drilling, and so much more.
Let me tell you, NRDC are the good guys — and they are NO JOKE. That's why I've been a supporter for 20 years and joined their board of trustees, and it's why I just made my own donation to help them reach their goal today.
Will you join me by making a special Giving Tuesday contribution? No matter the size of your gift, you'll power important work that's making an incredible impact for our environment.
Your contribution will go straight to where it's needed most right now: Protecting our clean air and water and securing a livable planet for generations to come.
For me, Giving Tuesday is all about one thing: Taking action on the issues that I hold closest to my heart. I'm putting my money where my mouth is by making a gift to NRDC for Giving Tuesday.
Come on, say you're with me.
Thanks,
Julia Louis-Dreyfus
