But first I want to share what we’re up against.
This week Rep. Tony Gonzales tweeted, "No mandatory waiting. No hardware bans. No age bans. No universal background checks. No Charleston loophole."
That’s right, the representative whose district just suffered the worst mass shooting in a decade has voted no Protecting Our Kids. No Violence Against Women Reauthorization. No Enhanced Background Checks. No Bipartisan Background Checks.
Now it’s time for Texans to return the favor and vote no to Tony Gonzales this November.
I’m ready to take his seat and be the voice and the fighter for the people — not the gun lobbyists and corporations. But to get there, I’m going to need your help.
