Hi Team Geels,

We are still looking for 2 volunteers for the 8pm-10pm shift. Courtney and Bryan will be at the Festival all day with you. Will you consider manning the table along with Courtney & Bryan? It allows someone to go get a lemonade or go to the bathroom without leaving the table empty. It also allows for Courtney to talk to people while you hand out stuff and engage in any conversations.

Logistics for volunteers:

Shirts:

Wear your shirt! If you don't have one, please consider making a $20 donation to Courtney's campaign on her website and contact Courtney directly to coordinate getting a shirt. That being said, we don't want a volunteer to go without one due to cost so let me know if you need one.

Parking:

Golden Belt Campus Parking Lots
(For GPS purposes: 1005 Franklin Street, Durham NC, 27701)

  • Parking is available in lot next to Festival area and is free;

  • Check-in: corner of Franklin & Belt Streets;

  • Festival staff will show you to your designated booth space;

  • Break down: 10:00 pm; no vehicles will be allowed in the Festival area until Police have indicated that it is safe to bring vehicles into the area;

  • Please leave your area clean of debris before departing the Festival.
