John,

An exciting update—we’re going to be on the ballot! Last week, I filed my paperwork to officially run for re-election as your supervisor!

John, will you help me celebrate this major step for our campaign with a contribution? [[link removed]] CONTRIBUTE NOW » [[link removed]] I ran for the Board of Supervisors because I wanted everyone to have a voice in City Hall, regardless of their status or privilege. I’m proud that over the last four years I took on tough issues and made a real impact in the lives of all San Franciscans.

Thanks to the support of this community, I led our city through a once-in-a-generation pandemic and secured resources for those who needed them most. San Francisco has been challenged to become a more equitable city due to our work. And together, we increased the number of affordable housing units available, a major step towards solving one of our city’s biggest crises.

But there is still work to do, John. Our city remains in recovery and is changing rapidly. We must continue to fight for affordable housing, advocate for our public schools, and secure safer streets.

I need supporters like you to make this happen, John. Early help is critical as we begin a new election cycle and prepare for the election this November. Will you join my dream of a San Francisco that works for everyone by becoming an early backer of our campaign? [[link removed]] COUNT ME IN AS AN EARLY SUPPORTER » [[link removed]] Gratefully,
Shamann
