Not sure if you saw the news this weekend, but the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals lifted its administrative stay, and the Louisiana Legislature will now move forward with the special session that Governor John Bel Edwards called to draw a congressional map with two majority minority districts.

Will you send a quick email to your legislators asking them to support fair maps?
There is less than 48 hours until the special session will begin, so it's critical that you take action now.

The 2020 Census proved that one-third of Louisiana's population is Black, and Louisiana has six congressional districts. In the name of basic math, two of the six districts should be majorty minority districrts. Self-serving politicians refused to follow this basic math in the first place, so now the courts have ordered Louisiana to move forward with redrawing the maps.

Will you take action now to urge your legislators to support fair and equal maps?
