We weren’t able to hire a team of door knockers to help us spread our campaign literature a couple of weeks ago because we didn’t raise enough money to cover their costs. Would you consider helping us find the funds to hire a team to knock doors this weekend? We need $4,000 to hire a team of ten folks for two days.

At 17,181 square miles, our district is just too big for the three people I have on staff to do all by ourselves.

Fellow Conservative,

There is a very good chance that you’ve been visited by a political candidate and you may not have 1.) answered the door or 2.) been home. But in politics, knocking doors as it’s known is one of the best ways that we can reach the voters who have the power to propel us into office or send us a message that they’re just not buying what we’re offering.

Just before the Memorial Day holiday I sent out an email to you all letting you know that we wouldn’t be taking the extended holiday weekend for leisure, but rather we’d be working. You see, we have a very large district which means a lot of territory to cover. Me and my core team can’t hit every house we need to just by ourselves. That’s why we asked for your help to raise funds so we could pay a professional door knocking team to help us get the job done.

My guess is that most of you weren’t checking email that weekend because we only raised $1,668. Not enough to pay a team of 10 professionals to spend two days helping us make contact with folks.

SO, we’re trying this one more time in the hopes that our second attempt might yield better results.
