Hey John,
33 mass shootings have happened since the massacre in Uvalde, Texas. In those two weeks, I’ve been showing up with other young organizers to the district and DC offices of members of Congress to speak to them about common sense solutions to end gun violence.
I lobbied Congress and marched four years ago too, but this time is different. We’re closer than we’ve ever been to getting something done.
Our movement is growing – people from all backgrounds are recognizing that this isn’t about what side of the political aisle you’re on, this is about kids dying. This is about our communities living in fear of the next shooting in places that should be safe – like schools, grocery stores, and hospitals.
We’re marching for our lives in DC and in 450+ cities worldwide tomorrow. Find a march near you and join us. If you can’t attend, consider fueling our movement so we can keep this momentum going past tomorrow.

We’re mobilizing to demand that Congress pass federal gun safety legislation like universal background checks, raising the minimum age for select gun purchases, and limiting the sale of weapons of war.
Since we last marched, guns have become the leading cause of death for American children. Our elected officials have failed us and have refused to keep us alive. We have no choice but to march again until there’s change.
