After nearly a year of undertaking a January 6 investigation and who was involved in the insurrection, the House committee will be holding televised hearings tonight at 8 PM EST/ 7 PM CST.

Here are some things to know:

>The hearing will focus on laying out a complete timeline, including the events of the 2020 election all the way to what happened AFTER the insurrection.

>By the end of the hearing, we'll know more about the involvement of far-right groups who participated, including the Proud Boys and Oathkeepers.

>With the exception of FOX NEWS (no surprise there), all of the major news outlets plan on streaming the hearing LIVE.
