When you speak up against children being massacred by weapons of war and call out the GOP for their dangerous inaction on gun violence — a fire hose of right-wing attacks seem to follow.
From Tucker Carlson to Trump’s favorite far right propaganda channel, OANN, the right-wing media has been relentlessly attacking Mondaire — spreading dangerous lies and disinformation about him and his colleagues. They’ve decided that’s their best shot at taking back the House majority and blocking life-saving gun reforms.
Mondaire is being attacked because he refuses to stand by as kids across the country are gunned down. Time and again, the GOP has prioritized their own political power over protecting the lives of children.
Gun violence and mass shootings shouldn’t be the norm in America. We deserve better.
To save lives, we need to pass laws like the Protecting Our Kids Act, sweeping anti-gun violence legislation that would raise the age limit on the purchase of semiautomatic firearms, prevent gun trafficking, ban ghost guns and high-capacity magazines, and require the safe storage of firearms.
Mondaire is committed to doing everything in his power to pass this bill and take weapons of war out of circulation in our communities — including abolishing the filibuster.
But to keep him fighting back against their right-wing machine, Mondaire needs the full backing of this grassroots movement.
