Yesterday, the news came out that NC Lieutenant Governor Mark Robinson has once again made backwards and hateful comments, this time saying that "We are called to be led by men," and not women.
By now, we are used to Robinson's extreme and divisive rhetoric. He even tried to bully Featured Candidate Sen. Julie Mayfield after she spoke up for LGBTQ equality on the Senate floor last year.
Lillian's List was founded 25 years ago to change the face of power and give women a seat at the table, and we're not going anywhere, despite people like Robinson who want to send us back in time.
