** Unfinished Salon
------------------------------------------------------------
At a time of deep divisions in the United States, join four democracy pioneers who will share their wisdom and powerful ideas on the animating question: In a thriving multiracial democracy, how can we find a shared purpose? Moderated by Angela Glover Blackwell, Chair of the Unfinished Network, the panelists will include Danielle Allen and Eric Liu, co-chairs of the Academy’s Commission on the Practice of Democratic Citizenship, and Starsky Wilson, President & CEO of the Children's Defense Fund.

Unfinished Salons are an ongoing series of thought-provoking events held through 2022. Each Salon focuses on a single animating question that connects to Unfinished’s mission of building a just digital future. Charting the path toward this future requires a bold imagining of how technology, governance, and culture can create a thriving multiracial democracy and a just economy, and the Salons dive into the fundamental questions that get us there.

The Jewish Democracy Network ([link removed]) is a transpartisan, Jewish effort to ensure free, fair, safe, and accessible elections. Launched in May 2022, the network has two goals: ensuring the United States remains an electoral democracy; and strengthening democratic culture in the country.

The Jewish Democracy Network is about coming together around concrete, vetted, nonpartisan activities that matter in election administration and protection. There are five strategies for network members to pursue, allowing each organization the flexibility to design a commitment that best suits its assets, resources, and influence.
