Folks, in case you missed it: Senator John Kennedy had the perfect opportunity to debate gun reform and keep our communities safe last week, but he voted to block it. Kennedy’s actions are inexcusable.

Politicians like him would rather turn a blind eye to these senseless tragedies than work with their colleagues across the aisle to save lives.

And to make matters worse, Kennedy launched his re-election campaign with an NRA-sponsored ad that glamorizes and politicizes guns. Let’s not forget that while 90% of Americans support common-sense legislation like universal background checks, he opposes them.

Why? Because Kennedy is just another NRA-bought-and-paid-for politician.

We’re sick and tired of Kennedy’s excuses. But we want to know where you stand on the matter. So before midnight, tell us: Do you think Sen. Kennedy should act immediately on gun safety legislation?
