We live in a country where the federal minimum wage has been $7.25/hour since 2009, making it impossible for a full-time minimum wage worker to live comfortably without needing to take a second or even a third job! We live in a country without a succinct, practical plan to combat climate change. We live in a country where an ambulance ride can cost us the food on our tables.
If we are going to create a brighter future for families like yours and mine, something has to change. This is why I am proud to fight for a livable, thriving wage and a green economy that works for all of us and preserves our planet for future generations.
