I wanted to take a moment to reach out to you personally about the last month.

I know the last few weeks have been difficult. From the leaked news about the Supreme Court likely overturning Roe v. Wade to the mass shooting at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas – there’s no doubt that we are facing some tough times.

I struggle to find the right words to describe my own frustrations and sadness with these recent events. I remind myself that we cannot change what has happened, but we can fight for a better future.

We have over 80,000 supporters reading this email (including you!) who I know are willing to take action to fight for the future we deserve, and who will act to make it happen.

That’s why I’m running for re-election. To make sure that we make Nevada an even better place from community to community.

Last month, we saw hundreds of folks donate for the first time, protest for the first time, or sign a petition for the first time.

We’ve got to keep up that action, and keep up that momentum, to make sure that we elect leaders who aren’t afraid to act, and who will create a better future for their constituents.

I’m proud to be a leader fighting for you. And I want you to know that I will always be by your side, fighting for a better future.
