Sorry for the late email, but I wanted to make sure you saw Hannah’s email from earlier today.  

Our May fundraising deadline is so critically important because it’s our first end-of-month deadline since the Supreme Court’s draft decision on Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization leaked, previewing that Roe v. Wade will be overturned.

Their formal decision is set to come any day now, friend, so we need you to step up in these last few hours of the month and help us reach our $5,000 goal. 

When 80% of Americans support the legal right to an abortion, but 5 people want to effectively decide for them that their reproductive rights don’t matter … well, we have a major problem.

I don’t mean to be curt, but our team at the Fairness Project is fed up. Fed up with extremist politicians. Fed up with SCOTUS. 

We know we can protect our right to an abortion, raise wages, expand health care, and pass so many other amazing and life-changing policies this November, but we can’t do it without your support. 

The news on Roe is devastating, but we knew it was possible. So, we’re actively working to find more states where we can run and win ballot measure campaigns to codify our reproductive rights.

Americans are seeing the power of our movement in Michigan, and now voters in states across the country are considering ballot measures to protect reproductive freedom — Vermont voters will also be voting directly on reproductive rights this November.

SCOTUS clued us in that they are set to overturn Roe v. Wade any day now, and when that happens, 26 states have laws in effect that would outlaw abortion — including Michigan.

The campaigns we’re working to support will ensure people in these states can still access the reproductive health care they need.
