Hi John,

We need a bold national plan to solve the housing crisis. Chip in now to help me win and fight for that in Congress. [[link removed]]

When I went on Fox News last week to talk about housing and homelessness, I used a little trick to handle my first time on national TV news. I had the camera guy turn off the monitor under the camera, so I couldn’t see Jesse Watters’ face as he interviewed me. Why? Because I knew he’d be smirking at me and I didn’t want to get distracted from making my points.

When I watched later, though, I saw that I was right: he was doing his usual smirking song-and-dance.

But you know what? Homelessness is no laughing matter. There are 40,000 homeless veterans and 120,000 homeless kids in this country. No one should be homeless in the richest country on Earth.

We need millions of units of social housing, national rent caps, and mortgage and rent assistance for the millions of people paying almost half their income in rent.

Can you chip in to help me fight for Housing for All in Congress? Thank you! [[link removed]]
