John,

Mayor Lightfoot has been delivering on her promise to uplift vulnerable communities, expand economic opportunity and ensure a strong future for Chicago. And with a fundraising deadline TONIGHT, we're counting on you to chip in whatever you can to show your support for Mayor Lori E. Lightfoot!

Here’s some of what we’ve been up to:

Here is Mayor Lightfoot celebrating the Chicago City Council's vote to approve our city's new casino, along with Chicago's hospitality union members — a victory that has been in the making for more than 30 years.

After years of planning and hard work, Mayor Lightfoot was proud to join the Bickerdike Redevelopment Corporation with other city and community leaders for the grand opening of Emmett Street Apartments in the Logan Square community.

Mayor Lightfoot's community investments have turned into real progress for many of Chicago's local high schools and students. Schools like Farragut High, where school faculty, staff and students are breaking ground on their new field. We couldn't be more thrilled for the success of this educational cornerstone in the Little Village community!

The recent attack on our reproductive rights are disturbing to say the least, but they are exactly why Mayor Lightfoot declared Chicago a safe haven for abortion with the Justice For All Pledge. With the help and support of Chicago's reproductive justice leaders, we can ensure that every resident and visitor has access to medical reproductive services.

It's hard to believe that all this happened in just one month! It's even harder to believe that this month also marks 3 years of Mayor Lightfoot's leadership as Mayor of Chicago. This photo marked the beginning of a new era — an era of investment in the communities and city we call home.

As Mayor Lightfoot continues to work tirelessly to improve the lives of every Chicago resident, we hope you'll continue to keep in touch with us and our grassroots team.

Thank you,

— Team Lightfoot
