Let's talk about primaries

I'm Arizona Senator Wendy Rogers, and I am fighting to clean up our elections!
In among the new developments in the fight for election integrity- and new arrests in Arizona give us the start of hope for justice here- a new front is the battle for election integrity has arisen.

Something came up last week- and it must be addressed.
Democrats deciding Republican primary battles.

President Trump endorsed Rep. Jody Hice- well respected member of the House Freedom Caucus- to replace RINO Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger. Everyone expected Hice to win- at least to force a runoff.
But RINO Raffensperger won.
Why? Democrat votes!
It appears these Democrat voters helped push hated Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger over the top in the GOP primary race on Tuesday night.
A recent report by the far-left Atlanta Journal-Constitution found that at least 7% of early Republican voters were Democrats.
Georgia is an open primary state.
These Democrat voters were the difference in the Secretary of State race in the state.
Much despised Brad Raffensperger somehow managed to pull off a victory in the Republican primary last night against former Congressman and President Trump endorsed US Representative Jody Hice.
If 7% of the votes were Democrats switching over for the primary, then that made the difference in the Secretary of State Race.
The GOP race had almost twice as many votes as the Democrat race.
The rest of the Georgia primary races saw more turnout by Republicans but only by 100,000-200,000 votes.
Enough Democrats voted for Raffensperger to ensure he would not have to force into a runoff with Jody Hice.
Democrats understand they have a friend in dirty Brad Raffensperger.
Georgia is an open primary state- meaning anyone can vote in either party's primary in any year (but not both).
Dems knew they wouldn't win. But enough crossed over- 7%- to throw the Republican nomination to the RINO.
Dems should not be deciding Republican nominations. It's time to end open primaries and let each party decide who represents it!

The Dems try to steal our elections for the general election. They did it all the time- until we started getting serious about putting a stop to it.
They will keep trying to mess with our primaries too- they absolutely hate patriots THAT much.
The defining characteristic of the Left? That they feel so entitled to power that they are willing to throw elections to achieve it.
Arrests are being made. The start of accountability.
But they won't stop trying to throw these things. The power is too much temptation for them.
We will keep working on this- but we can ABSOLUTELY stop the open primaries, with Dems picking our nominees.
