We’ve been overwhelmed with gratitude since our victory in the primary election. Thanks to your support, we proved that Western North Carolina was tired of Madison Cawthorn’s reckless antics – and that a gay woman can win in the South.

Now, Jasmine will face off against Republican Chuck Edwards in November. Although he isn’t in the national spotlight, Edwards’ brand of politics is no better than Cawthorn’s.

He refuses to call January 6th an insurrection, is anti-choice, and won his primary thanks to loads of dark money and by using the divisive and dirty political tactics that prevent us from moving forward.

Jasmine is the exact opposite of Edwards. She has a plan to unite WNC with a different kind of politics guided by love, hope, and empathy – but she can’t do it alone.

There are still thousands of voters across the district that we have to reach with Jasmine’s message. Since Edwards secured the Republican nomination, Jasmine has been closing the gap with him.

Now, thanks to supporters like you, the margin is within single digits. This is the closest poll of the race, but this surge in support could slip away from us unless we maintain our fundraising.
