The tragic shooting in Uvalde has left us all feeling unsettled and frustrated.

We can only say “enough is enough” so many times. The words of Connecticut Senator Chris Murphy play over in my head: What are we doing?

My heart goes out to all those affected by the deadly massacre. To the children, teachers, and parents: you truly deserve better.

We all deserve to live in a country where our children don’t fear their classrooms.
