Too many innocent people have been killed by guns in mass shootings. It’s beyond past time to do something about it. So we’re highlighting a few of the Treason Caucus members who continue to undermine and threaten our democracy – but have no problem protecting the gun lobby:

Ted Cruz

- Received $311,151 from the NRA, gun enthusiasts, and second amendment super PACs in the 2018 election.
- Wants to regulate doors instead of guns as his constituents face one of the worst school shootings in American history.
- In 2015, cemented his love for machine guns by cooking bacon on the muzzle of an AR-15 assault rifle.
- Has consistently voted against common-sense measures to keep guns out of the hands of violent offenders and people at risk for committing violence.

Marjorie Taylor Greene

- Shamelessly trolled the survivors of the Parkland school shooting and called a survivor "a coward" and a "little Hitler."
- Implied that people should shoot politicians that encourage a vaccination campaign against the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Propagated the conspiracy theory that the Las Vegas mass shooting was staged.
- Consistently voted against common-sense measures to keep guns out of the hands of violent offenders and people at risk for committing violence.

The Treason Caucus and the gun lobby are one and the same. They will happily side with the NRA over protecting the lives of the people they serve. It's because of them that our country is facing an epidemic of gun violence and our government is stalled to provide any solutions.
