Far-right Sen. Mike Lee has a long history of appeasing Vladimir Putin and enabling Russia. And now he’s getting “rewarded” for it.

Instead of defending democratic values and condemning Russia’s unprovoked invasion of Ukraine, Senator Lee has repeatedly voted against aid for Ukraine and used his power as senator to protect Putin from sanctions.

Mike Lee answers to the extremes — and it is clear he no longer represents Utah’s values or our democratic interests. Simply put, he’s lost his way. A Utah reporter recently put it this way: “Mike Lee is a creature of Washington.”
