John— At this point, we know the feeling of heartbreak and horror all too well. The massacre in Uvalde, Texas, is a grave tragedy for our nation, the third-deadliest school shooting in modern American history. 19 children and two teachers.  This must stop. We must stop this. No gun law will prevent every shooting, but we know there are meaningful solutions that have and will continue to save lives, such as minimum age laws, safe storage laws, extreme risk protection orders, and universal background checks.
