As Julie’s Field Director, part of my job is making sure that our team has the resources we need to run one of the largest grassroots field programs of any Congressional campaign in the country.

And I'm reaching out to let you know that the pace of our fundraising has slowed in the last couple of days.

This isn't a cause for alarm -- in fact, we expected it with the Thanksgiving holiday.

But it does mean that we need to pick up the pace again to make our end-of-month goal. Every dollar raised goes directly into voter contact -- and as y’all know, our campaign has the stated goal of registering and turning out more Democratic voters than any Congressional campaign in Texas history.

We’re doing that work now -- using a ground-breaking voter registration tool to make sure that every newly-identified Democrat in TX-25 is registered, so it's critical that we meet this deadline to ensure that Julie is growing the coalition it will take to win this seat back for the people of District 25 -- and to do our part to deliver Texas’ 38 Electoral College votes and change history.

With one day left, we're $2,880 away from our $10,000 goal. If 72 people each donate $40, we'll cross the threshold.
