The North Carolina General Assembly is our last line of defense against extremists who want to ban abortion while refusing to pass laws that actually protect our schoolchildren.
Lillian's List has 38 Featured Candidates for the NCGA, including Targeted candidates in competitive races and our Guardian incumbents. Each of these progressive, pro-choice women will fight against the extremism and hate we are seeing across the country and right here in NC.
If the legislature passes an abortion ban, North Carolinians who need an abortion would have to leave the state to get one. In order to protect our access to abortion, we must elect pro-choice, progressive women to the NC General Assembly and protect Gov. Cooper's veto power. Lillian's List works year-round to recruit, train, and support women candidates at both the state and local level.
