Friends, some exciting news! The tweet we have all been waiting for.
Dave Wasserman tweeted on May 24, that he had “seen enough” of Jamie McLeod-Skinner’s race against Kurt Schrader.
Although we cannot use this tweet as a formal way to call the race - we are still waiting on the AP to claim victory - this is undeniably huge. It is yet another sign of how impactful Jamie’s race was and it is another step in the right direction.
We have been seeing news articles, tweets, and other media all over that show signs of Jamie taking this race.
Jamie is on her way to defeating a 25-year incumbent, this is a huge testament to Democratic races all over the country. Her race shows that Democrats don’t need to take corporate PAC money in order to win - she did it all on grassroots dollars alone. Jamie McLeod-Skinner’s race is monumental.
