We are completely heartbroken by the recent news of the mass shooting today at Robb Elementary School. We mourn for those lost and wish peace for the families, educators and larger Uvalde, Texas community grieving. 
 
We are enraged that we have grown to expect these preventable tragedies in our schools and that the mass murder of children has become an accepted regular occurrence in America. 
 
We are angry that our political leaders continue to tell us that our lives mean nothing by choosing to stand in the way of life-saving change — on both sides of the aisle.

Our political leaders must take action to honor the lives lost, and to save countless lives. Their thoughts and prayers won’t stop us from dying. We are taking action to build the political will they lack and put an end to gun violence.
