That's right: Brooklyn Young Democrats was chartered twelve years ago this week! BYD has done a lot over the last dozen years. And of course, young Democrats have been organizing across the borough for decades; we stand on their shoulders as we continue the fight for a better Brooklyn.
We want to continue this work for the next twelve years, too, but we're going to need money to help spread the word about our endorsed candidates and Democratic causes.
From Brooklyn Can't Wait to petitioning power hours, our work is so nice, we're asking for $12 twice: donate $24 to BYD today! ([link removed]) If you're under the age of 35 and live, work or attend school in Brooklyn, the $24 will also count towards your dues for the year.
