The abysmal failures of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) are at the very center of the border crisis. Chip Roy confronted DHS Secretary Mayorkas during an explosive Congressional hearing, in which Mayorkas unbelievably claimed he had “operational control” of the sudden border despite record human and drug smuggling.

Freeing up American Energy Production

At a time of record gas prices, the Biden Administration just took away the ability to drill for oil in over 1 million acres in Alaska as well as canceling two lease sales in the Gulf of Mexico. Chip has filed a discharge petition on Rep. Lauren Boebert's bill "Protect American Energy Jobs Act," which overturns Joe Biden's executive orders that stopped the Keystone Pipeline and other energy projects.
