We wanted to extend an invitation to an exciting upcoming virtual event with Senator Emily Randall and her cousin, the Sheriff of Salt Lake County in Utah, Rosie Rivera.
They are both running for re-election this year, and we wanted an amazing opportunity to make sure we are re-electing these Latina Leaders!
Senator Emily Randall was born and raised by two union workers on the Kitsap Peninsula, Emily has dedicated her life to giving back to the community that gave her and her family so much. As our State Senator, she has put people ahead of politics to deliver real solutions. Re-electing Emily Randall means a continued commitment to fighting for quality, affordable education and healthcare and an economy that works for everyone.
Sheriff Rosie Rivera was the first female sheriff elected in the State of Utah. She believes in transparency and accountability. She is passionate about finding alternatives to incarceration by supporting programs such as drug addiction treatment and mental health treatment. As sheriff, she has put these passions into action.
