Team — Earlier today, the Oklahoma state legislature passed a total ban on abortion . If signed by Oklahoma’s governor, the law would immediately go into effect. Right now, it’s the strictest ban passed by any legislature in America.

And this is just the beginning for extremist legislators. They’re trying to pass bills just like this Oklahoma ban *everywhere* possible. With or without an existing trigger ban, with or without Roe v. Wade , with or without the peoples’ support, it’s clear these bans will continue to come down.

Fairness Project is fighting back at the ballot box to stop legislation exactly like this from being passed in Michigan and other states across the country. As we fuel this fight in Michigan and find other states where we could run similar campaigns, will you contribute right away to power this critical work? >> [[link removed]]

Team, we have a track record of success — even in states with the most extreme state officials. In Oklahoma, we helped run a ballot measure campaign in 2020 to expand Medicaid and won .

Direct democracy + grassroots support + organizing with local partners = progress and protection for all . It’s a tried and true formula, and we’re bringing this approach to the fight for abortion rights NOW.

We’ve gotten the ball rolling with Michigan. Help us bring this approach to other states as extremist legislators work to undo *decades* of popular progress by brute force. [[link removed]]
