We know this is unusual but Jamie’s election isn’t over yet. We got the news that we may not know the final results until June 12. There are over 31,000 ballots that still need to be counted which gives us a lot of time to keep getting Jamie the resources she needs to win.
We know this is stressful and we will be honest - it sucks waiting to hear the results of a campaign that we all put our blood, sweat, and tears into. But, BTE is strong and our team is taking this as good news.
We now have more time to campaign, friends!
So what does this mean? It means we need the strongest grassroots support we have ever seen. We don’t mean to be dramatic but this campaign is one of the THREE competitive congressional primaries in the entire country — which is why it is all over national news. This is no small grassroots campaign and when Jamie wins, it will be a HUGE upset for the establishment.
We have shown Kurt Schrader who is backed by big oil and pharma companies that we don’t need his dirty money. We have truly made history folks but it isn’t over.
No matter what happens these past few weeks - I consider this a win for true Democrats and all grassroots organizations.
