This email is a little longer, but please just give me one or two minutes of your time to talk about a crisis facing American families.

Just four companies make nearly all the baby formula that Americans buy. So what happens when the supply chain strains, our government fails to act, and one of the companies gets two babies killed — all at once? 

Parents are being forced to ration their baby formula, and 50% of baby formula is out of stock. This is more than just a failure by Corporate America and our government…

This is what corporate manslaughter looks like.

Abbott, Reckitt Benckiser, Nestle, and Perrigo have controlled nearly 90% of America’s baby formula supply since 2018. Meanwhile, the FDA — the government agency that’s supposed to protect us from getting killed by these giant corporations — is literally owned by those same corporations thanks to revolving doors, an army of lobbyists, and millions of dollars in corporate PAC checks.

Now a handful of corporate oligarchs and their handpicked bureaucrats decide how Americans get to feed their babies — and how much it should cost. 

I can’t accept a status quo that lets a dangerous cartel take advantage of real people just trying to get by. I know you can’t either. That’s why I’m building a grassroots movement to fundamentally change who has power in our country — starting with taking this U.S. Senate seat back for everyday people.

So please, can you add a donation of $20.22 or any amount you think is best to split between No Dem Left Behind and my campaign right now? We don’t take a single cent of corporate PAC money, so I mean it when I say this: A donation of any amount will make a huge difference.

Americans deserve a real plan to address this shortage and all the devastation these massive corporations have caused our communities. Here’s mine: 

1. We need to break up the baby formula cartel. 
2. We need to prosecute Abbott for hiding their plant conditions from the FDA. 
3. And we need to kick FDA in the *ss. It’s an agency captured by the giant corporations it’s supposed to make sure don’t kill us. It’s time we made them do their job. 

Together, we’ll take back our power from the corporate oligarchs and corrupt politicians and put real people in charge of our country.
