It seems like it was only yesterday that Madison Cawthorn was elected to embarrass – we mean, serve the people of North Carolina. And yesterday, our country received some great news: Trump-backed Republican clown Madison Cawthorn officially lost his primary election and will be leaving office in 2023.

This is huge news, John! We've always believed that Madison Cawthorn and his radical ideals are a menace to our democracy, and it seems like the American people agree.

From “exposing” Republican cocaine orgies to being one of the top promoters of the ‘Big Lie’ and playing a part in the insurrection on January 6, there are many ways that this man has attacked our democracy. But finally, accountability has won, and the people of North Carolina have the chance to elect a leader who will actually defend our democracy.

We're glad that justice has been served, and we're confident that he will not be the first member of the Treason Caucus to lose their seat in the coming elections. Wins like this let us know that unseating the Treason Caucus is possible, and we're more fired up than ever to make that happen.
