Right To Be Launches Bystander Intervention to Stop Antisemitic Harassment Training

In partnership with T’ruah: The Rabbinic Call for Human Rights, our goal is for you to leave the training ready to safely intervene when you see antisemitic harassment happening  in public or online.

Since 2002, T’ruah has brought a rabbinic voice and the power of the Jewish community to protect and advance human rights in North America, Israel, and the occupied Palestinian territories.

They do this by training and mobilizing their network of 2,300 rabbis and cantors, together with their communities, to bring their Jewish values to life through strategic and meaningful action.

I’ve Got Your Back teaches readers the ins and outs of bystander intervention using Right To Be’s methodology: the 5Ds of bystander intervention — distract, delegate, document, delay, and direct. Each chapter of the book dives deeply into what these 5Ds can look like in practice, whether you are in public, online, or at work. I’ve Got Your Back is an invaluable resource in creating a new vision for our communities — one where we stand up for our neighbors, and our neighbors stand up for us.
