🗳 Voter Guide for May 24th Primaries 🗳

Starbucks benefit concert May 6 at Eyedrum

Early voting for state and local elections in Georgia is still open, and it's time to vote! The critical failures of the Democratic party to defend people's healthcare, including the right to a free abortion, highlights the need for voting in progressive, democratic socialists.

Use ATLDSA's primary voter guide to learn all about the candidates and their stances on key progressive issues. Plus, we've got events planned all month to help Get Out The Vote!

🌹 Find your polling place and preview your ballot at https://mvp.sos.ga.gov/ 🗳

🌹 Knock doors to get out the vote this Sunday, May 22, 11am – 2pm at Grant Park! RSVP here!

Starbucks Solidarity Sip-In☕

The Starbucks workers at Ansley Mall have filed for a union and need your support! All over the country, Starbucks management is cracking down and engaging in illegal union busting tactics, so we've got to let the workers that their local community supports a union "yes" vote.

Join us next Saturday May 21st from 2:00-3:00 PM for a Solidarity "Sip in". Visit the Starbucks at Ansley Mall (1544 Piedmont Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30324) and order a drink under the name "Union Yes" to show the workers you support the union. Don't forget to leave a cash tip!

If you're a DSA member to wear red! Plus, come early to get a Starbucks United Button. Join us later that day at 4:00 PM for our monthly membership meeting: atldsa.org/gm. And don't forget to join us the next Saturday, May 28th from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM for a Starbucks Solidarity flyering as well (RSVP: atldsa.org/sbuxflyer).

🍴 Douglas Debs Dinner 🍴

For 13 years, Atlanta DSA's Douglass-Debs dinner has brought together Atlanta’s progressive community to honor outstanding role models and leaders, celebrate our accomplishments during the past year, and enjoy an evening of comradeship.

This year, our keynote speaker will be AFL-CIO Southern Regional Director Charles Clark. We will host the 2022 Douglass-Debs Dinner in the IBEW hall on Pulliam Street in downtown Atlanta on Friday, June 3, 2022.

The dinner is a great opportunity to meet with other community activists and hear from inspiring speakers.  Tickets are $50, with reduced-cost tickets available for students and other low-income comrades. We look forward to seeing you there!
