Team, we are sick and tired of being beaten out by Republicans. The GOP only cares about making money and making policies that benefit those at the top of a broken and unjust system.
We work too hard to see them taking control.
The whole reason we created this PAC was to 1) beat Republicans and 2) hold Democrats accountable and push the needle to the left where we can. We wanted to be a voice for those who don’t get the chance to use their own. We are standing up, raising money, and fighting for our candidates who face endless barriers when trying to get elected.
Money should never choose who is in office but unfortunately, that is the reality we are living in. Democrats have been defeated by money for ages - especially on the left. We can change this with a grassroots army of people like you, but we know we can’t do it alone.
We are losing the fight against money when it comes to the Republican party. They use the money to control legislatures and in turn, our bodies and our rights. This is not what politics should be about - we need to destroy the dark money machines that undermine our basic freedoms.
We only have a few hours left until our mid-month deadline and we know this one fundraising push won’t defeat the GOP but it will sure as hell help lift up our endorsed candidates. Friends, this fight is not going to be short.
We will fight one candidate at a time and one election at a time until we are seeing blue across the country.
Let’s not waste any more time being controlled by money.
