re-introduced Medicare for All in the Senate!

[ [link removed] ]Tweet from Senator Bernie Sanders reads: Estimates show that nearly 27
million Americans and their families lost their health care coverage when
they lost their jobs due to COVID-19. Let me be clear: health care is a
human right, not a job benefit. Yes. It’s time for Medicare for All.

He held the first ever full committee hearing on Medicare for All in the
Senate on Thursday, which is an important step towards true universal
health care in America. It’s a historic moment for our movement that will
be made even bigger if we do two things in the next 9 days: elect Summer
Lee and elect Jessica Cisneros.

Summer and Jessica will fight alongside Bernie for Medicare for All.
Corporate, anti-M4A Democrats are spending millions to stop our
progressive Justice Democrats from winning and joining the Squad in
Congress.



[ [link removed] ]At such a big moment for M4A, can you chip in $3 to
help elect more Medicare for All advocates to the House? We can only pass
M4A if we build a coalition in Congress to join Bernie and the Squad.

We know the fight for Medicare for All won’t be easy — we’ve been at this
fight alongside Bernie and Justice Democrats in Congress for years. And
it’s one of the biggest fights between the people and corporate power in
this country.

Tens of thousands of people die each year at the hands of the private,
for-profit health care system in America. If we passed Medicare for All,
and established health care as a human right, everyone would be able to
get the care they need.

Health insurance executives and health care companies spend millions
lobbying against Medicare for All, because they want to continue profiting
from our broken system. And corporate Democrats join Republicans to
endlessly smear M4A, because they all want to keep raking in campaign
donations from corporate health care PACs.

The same political establishment is spending more money than ever to stop
Summer, Jessica and other Justice Democrats from joining the fight for M4A
in Congress. We only have 2 days left to help lift Summer past $3 million
of Super PAC attack ads, and 9 days left to help Jessica defeat the only
anti-abortion Democrat in the House.

[ [link removed] ]So, we have to ask: can you contribute $3 right now to
help us send fighters for M4A to Congress? The establishment is doing
everything it can to stop us, so we need our grassroots supporters to step
up!
