It was amazing to see millions of people take to the streets in support of choice this afternoon – we really hope the politicians were watching and listening!

Ehhh, let’s not kid ourselves here – we all know they weren’t.

Last week’s vote on codifying Roe proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that the current Senate is a joke – Democrats may have “the majority,” but as long as the Republicans still have the filibuster, they’ll obstruct meaningful progress every time.

That’s because nothing is more important to them than denying us victories, even if it means screwing the American people over and letting a radical right-wing Supreme Court strip us of our fundamental human rights.

It’s more obvious than ever that the filibuster has got to go. But unless we expand our Senate majority by at least 2 more seats, that will never happen.

That’s why we’ve set the ambitious goal of raising $1 million in May to invest in the No Dem Left Behind Senate Fund … because the midterms aren’t just a battle for control of the Senate anymore – we’re literally in a fight for our lives.

We’ve already endorsed 6 candidates in tough, toss-up states who have committed to doing whatever it takes to protect our right to choose, and we’ll be announcing more in the coming weeks.
